McKenzie Pass Ride

May 15, 2010

One of the most spectacular rides in the state, this spring training ride is not to be missed. The 51-mile ride begins at Black Butte Ranch in Sisters, Oregon and winds its way to the top of McKenzie Pass. Spend the day with rushing rivers, snow-covered peaks, and fellow cyclists, and then round out the experience with an evening BBQ dinner at Black Butte Ranch.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will support stewardship and restoration efforts on the Metolius River and Whychus Creek as part of the NFF’s Treasured Landscapes campaign. These funds will all be matched by the National Forest Foundation – giving riders twice the conservation bang for their buck! For more information, contact the NFF’s Lisa Leonard at lleonard@nationalforests.org.
