Opportunities exist to help with on-the-ground conservation projects conducted by our partner organizations, as well as Friends of the Forest Days that are sponsored or co-sponsored by the National Forest Foundation. On November 1, the National Forest Foundation invites Friends of the Forest volunteers to help plant native hardwood trees at Archer Creek/Good Bear, a spawning area in southwest Washington near the Franz Lake Wildlife Refuge.
